Predictive Maintenance of HVAC Systems

This was my first professional project executed during my employment at Gyandata Pvt Ltd., This was developed for a client in refrigeration industry.

The role included performing consolidation and initial data analysis that helped in building and tuning machine learning models to help predict faults and failures of HVAC systems with a lead time of 2 weeks.

During this project, a general purpose rule engine was developed in Python that helped in configuring rules using JSON and filter tabular data that helped shorten the pre-processing time to less than a second! Rule compositions and Feature transformations were also incorporated. This helped learn professional coding practices (including documentation, code comments, linting, test cases)

Working on this project helped get exposed to complete development lifecycle of AI software products from understanding requirements to deploying the app locally and in cloud.
